  6. Very powerful. I did not understand what Katie meant by “I have not seen my own face in 10 years.” Is Katie blind?

  7. @Sheina- She hasn’t seen her face because she had a nose jb so the face she has been looking at for a decade is not her own (so to speak).

  8. I saw that video of “Pretty” on Facebook, and also panicked, thinking she was implying the surgery had cost her vision. Reading this, I am assured, it was an inference about the perspective of it being an alien or artificial face, and not her OWN face. People squint slightly under spotlights. I thought, yea, she could be blind, oh my… But other than that scare, it was an EXCELLENT presentation. Thank you Katie.
