Again and Again.

Not only am I frustrated and annoyed by the persistent focus on baby bumps and post-baby bodies that increases unnecessary pressure on everyday women, I am bored with Kardashian.

  1. How disheartening, especially considering how she so recently spoke out against OK! Magazine photoshopping her to look so skinny/flawless.

  2. I know. I mention that in one of the links that leads to mention of that here: http://feministfatale.com/2010/03/stretch-marks-dont-discriminate/ That’s what led me to the question I posed in my Ms. Mag piece. Like her sister, Kim (I’m naked, unretouched and empowered, now go buy my diet pills), she’s sending conflicting messages.

  3. I’m tired of the whole celeb culture. Even though I wasn’t alive during the time of contract stars….I wish it would come back just enough so these people would SHUT UP about their lives. Can we get some “Real” news and important issues. I have walking in the grocery stores and 15 gossip rags are at the top of the check out and the educational Time, National Geographic, Newsweek, Finance type magazines are at the bottom collecting dust and giving me back pains when I have to bend over to pick them up.

  4. I don’t get why such an article would be sold as ‘showing off her post-baby body’. It’s so airbrushed and edited it probably looks very little like her ACTUAL body. So what is it showing off?
