Check out David M. Dismore’s post at Ms.blog to view the collection of vintage postcards that women fighting for suffrage used to get the word out and help cinch voting rights. They’re amazing. Also, check out Dismore’s website: Feminism 101.

  1. Thanks for letting people know about the suffragist postcards on the Ms. Blog ! I’ve got a new one up there now on colorful stamps the suffragists had printed up for their envelopes, so I hope you enjoy that too !

  2. You’re welcome. I am particularly smitten with first wavers (one of my next blog posts will be about Elizabeth Cady Stanton). I did see the stamp post and commented on it on FB. I’ll post a comment at Ms. now.
